Blue bubbles (stamping half-fail)

I think I still need stamping practice, at least if this is any indication...

I tried. But the stamp just didn't want to cooperate for more than a few nails. :/ I still kinda liked this mani though.

For the base I used China Glaze Want My Bawdy, then stamped with a blue foil polish from Color Club (name unknown, Ross has awesome Color Club sets but they almost never have names marked anywhere) and BM21.

One of the few times I've really liked bright, non-tealy blues on my nails!

Holoberry gradient

I do love me some glittery gradient prettiness.

The base of this one is Sinful Colors Winterberry, which is absolutely right up my alley. A greyed-out purple with shimmer? One-coat potential? Yes please! (I used two coats here, but only because I painted super thin to save drying time)

For the gradient I pulled out a franken I made a while ago, using an old Maybelline polish I'd had for ages and used up half of (despite being disappointed by the lack of duochrome on the nail, hope of which was the reason I had bought it... the bottle lied!) and half a bottle of Wet & Wild Fastdry Hannah Pinktana.

I haven't named this particular franken yet, and the lack of name is bugging me! Any suggestions?

Playing with Layering

This was just something I did super quick as a curiosity test, I kinda liked it so here's the results!

I started with a L.A. colors tangerine orange (name unknown, it came in a mini-set).

Then I layered a sheer pink with strong blue shimmer (Nina Ultra Pro Pink Frost) on top:

Mm, glowy and a little odd. Just the way I like my nails! :D

Slightly Unorthodox Valentine

And some more slacker catch-up, here's the nails I did for Valentine's Day...

I wanted something festive, but not overly sappy-looking. So I decided to go with the usual motifs, but change up the color scheme, yellow and purple instead of pinks!

I used China Glaze Ray-diant for the base, and then stamped with a (name unknown) Color Club dark purple jelly polish. The heart on my ring finger came from BM09 and the kiss on my thumb is from BM02.

Red and Gold

I've really been slacking on getting my nail art pics posted! I did this one the week before Christmas...
Yep, slacking! Well, better late than never, right?

I'm uncertain why I have ghost hands in all the pics I took of this

This was a really quick bit of fun, I started with an unknown Zoya polish that was given to me by a friend who wasn't using it anymore. I assume it has a name but I have no way of finding out, unless some Zoya fan happens to know (it's got a hidden silvery shimmer that doesn't show in the pic and barely shows IRL, if that helps)?

Then I grabbed a gold L.A. Colors glitter striper and did a firework sort of design from the cuticles.
